The eight British experimentalists include David Toop and Max Eastley, who have performed together on many projects including "New ans Rediscoverd Musical Instruments" released on Brina Eno's Obscure label in 1975; Evan Parker, one of the UK's foremost improvisers, who has performed with Derek Bailey and John Stevens; and Hugh Davies, who creates unique music with his own electro-acoustic instruments. The three tracks are excerpted by David Toop from a three-hour session recorded at the <London Musician's Collective> in London in July 1978. This astonishing piece features a crisp soundscape throughout, created by an improvisational performance using a variety of percussion, flute, recorder, handmade instruments, and live electronics. Highly recommended.
