This is an album of South Indian classical music, released from Nonesuch's Explorer Series. Performed by M. Nageswara Rao (vina), V. Thyagarajan (violin), T. Ranganathan (mridangam), V. Nagarajan (kanjira), and P. Srinivasan (tampura). Three tracks of traditional Karnataka music from South India, which has had a great influence on psychedelic rock and various contemporary jazz styles, are presented, including A1, with its extremely powerful bouncy rhythm and groove, and A2, with its gentle melody of veena and violin and the meditative drone of tampura. This album contains three tracks of Karnataka music. The full B-side, "Emi jesite nemi," which is over 17 minutes long. Must-listen.

A1: Telisi Rama chintanato
B1: Emi jesite nemi
