This is an album released in 1972, featuring the leading Japanese jazz pianist Masahiko Sato, who has been active at the forefront of jazz music since his solo debut in 1969, together with American bassist Peter Warren and Swiss drummer Pierre Favre. It features the live performance at Studio 70 in Munich, Germany, in November 1971. Both sides of the album feature over 22 minutes of improvisation in which slow and fast, static and dynamic intersect. Favre's playing is also excellent, as is his ECM work and his excellent collaboration with voice improviser Tamia. Please note that there is a 5mm scratch on the first half of the B-side, and there is some light intermittent noise.
