Maestro Fafa De Molokai is a Congolese singer who was for a long time a leading member of the group Viva La Musica, founded by Papa Wemba in 1977. This is his first album. The backing performance is by Viva La Musica. The structure and development of the song, with the electric guitar riffs leading the way, is typical of rumba congolese and soukous, but Viva La Musica's performance is very good. The ensemble of vocals/chorus is exquisite and pleasantly enjoyable from start to finish. Some of the songs have a Juju feel to them. All songs are highly recommended.
