The album was released in 1986 by Mal Waldron, an American pianist who has been at the forefront of the music scene for almost 50 years, from the 1950s to the early 2000s, and whose first album for the Japo label, the astonishing jazz-rock album "The Call", is very popular in our store. This is a live recording of a concert held at Domicile, a long-established jazz club in Munich, Germany, with Jimmy Woode (b) and Pierre Favre (ds), and as the title suggests, the trio performed songs composed by Waldron and Woode on the theme of blues. This is amazing. Jimmy Woode's thick bass also hits you hard.
