Maray Maray is a member of the long-running group Viva La Musica, formed in 1977 by Papa Wemba, a leading figure in the popular music scene in the Congo, Central Africa. This is a obscure solo album, originally released privately in 1984, featuring Maray Maray's repertoire of songs he composed while in Viva La Musica. It is a reworking of a song Maray Maray composed while he was with Viva La Musica and performed by Viva La Musica. Digital synthesizers were introduced extensively, and the sound evolved to be very sophisticated and pleasant. Especially the vocal melody of A1 is African music, but it is somewhat similar to a Japanese song.

A1: Djani - Pitie
A2: Mfumu - Mayala
