A leader album released in 1983 by Marcello Melis, an Italian jazz bassist active in the free field who has performed with Steve Lacy, Enrico Rava, Mario Schiano, and others. The quartet features Famoudou Don Moye (ds) and Don Pullen (p), who also played together on the classic "Free to Dance" album released in 1979, as well as Sandro Satta (as). The suite consists of four parts, each titled "Water," "Earth," "Air," and "Fire," and unfolds in free form while carrying ethnic sentiments. It is taken from the beginning of A1, when Moye's drums and Pullen's piano splash across the soundstage. Melis plays vocals and radio dial in addition to bass.
