After moving to Australia in the late 1960s, American soul singer Marcia Hines gained attention through her performances in the Australian productions of the musicals Hair and Jesus Christ Superstar. Since then, she has maintained a long-standing presence at the forefront of the music scene as a singer. This is her second album, released in 1976. The album showcases sophisticated sound production with a strong influence from U.S. soul, featuring luxurious R&B tracks highlighted by grand string orchestration and emotional soul/disco numbers driven by bright horn ensembles.
