This is the 1969 album by Marion Brown, an American jazz saxophonist who had a prolific career from the 1960s to 2000. The album features recordings from a trio session in the Netherlands in 1967 with Maarten van Regteren Altena and drummer Han Bennink, whose were active in free jazz in Amsterdam at the time. The first track unfolds into an aggressive improvisation, showcasing Brown's deep approach resonating with the rhythm section. A2 follows with a powerful performance where the rhythm section responds to Brown's intense improvisation. The title track, B2, opens with a solo on the tabla, escalating into a furious development with tremendous tension. The album captures the powerful performance of 36-year-old Marion Brown. This is a Japanese reissue from 1985 with the original UK artwork.
