An album released in 1978 by American jazz saxophonist Marion Brown, who was active on the frontlines from the 1960s until 2000, on the Dutch label Timeless. It features a live recording from a concert held in Willisau, Switzerland, in 1977, with a quartet consisting of Brandon Ross (guitar), Jack Gregg (bass), and Steve McCraven (drums). You can hear Brown’s mature performance on tracks like B1, where he delivers a swaying melody over a groovy rhythm section, and B2, an original bluesy score by Brandon Ross. Ross’s guitar fits perfectly in the mix.
