This album was released in 1978 by the German guitar duo Martin Kolbe+Ralf Illenbergerno on Mood Records, a quality German jazz label under the direction of Wolfgang Dauner. Dauner plays piano and synthesizer, and Eberhard Weber is on bass guitar, a lineup that makes me tingle just looking at the names. The rippling acoustic guitar ensemble that plays throughout the entire album. Needless to say, it is wonderful, but the most amazing of all is the final track, B4. The fine grains of sound that fill the soundstage, the rippling chorus that rushes in and out, and the dazzling light that seems to pour down from the heavens, create an overwhelming sense of ecstasy.
