Masahiko Togashi, the great drummer/percussionist who is the pride of Japan, and Masahiko Sato, the leading jazz pianist in Japan who has been active at the forefront since his debut with the leader album "Palladium" in 1969, This is a superb album recorded at the "Inspiration & Power 14 Free Jazz Grand Festival 1" held at the Art Theater Shinjuku Bunka Gekijo in 1973. The entire performance is a wonderful improvisation performance that conveys the atmosphere of a very dignified and tense venue, where the tension repeatedly rises and falls as if being pulled in either direction while slowly placing pieces of sound on the soundstage.
