Masahiko Togashi, a great drummer and percussionist who is the pride of Japan, created his own unique technique and continued to perform despite being paralyzed due to a spinal cord injury, and performed with Richard Beirach, a jazz pianist from New York, U.S.A. who has left many works for ECM and has performed with many Japanese artists. This duo album was released in 1978. It was recorded live at the Yamaha Hall in the same year. The A-side is a long session of over 21 minutes, and it is a highly spiritual performance that unfolds on a long scale, as if to express the tranquil and magnificent activities of the sea, such as low and high tide and tsunami.
