Featured in both the first edition and revised edition of the guidebook Obscure Sound. This is a session album by Japanese jazz percussionist Masahiko Togashi, who, despite being paralyzed, continued to perform with his unique style. In 1979, Togashi traveled to Paris, France, where he recorded this album with his longtime companions Don Cherry and Charlie Haden. The album includes tracks like A2, which has a simple yet dynamic rhythm, and the spiritual B2, where the contrast between Don Cherry’s bamboo flute and Togashi’s percussion creates a sense of Japanese wabi-sabi. The album ranges from ethnic jazz to intense improvised jazz, with a palpable, tense atmosphere. It's unquestionably a masterpiece.

A2: Words of Wind - Part.1
