Album released in 1981 by the great Japanese drummer/percussionist late Masahiko Togashi, who continued to create and perform his own unique technique despite a spinal cord injury that left him paralysed from the bottom half of his body. The album features Togashi's percussion solos throughout, including drum sets with special settings, bells of various sizes placed on the floor or hanging from the floor, and mallets used to strike the edge of metal percussion instruments, all with a tremendous sense of physicality and rhythm, a technique he developed because of his disability. The band's unique performance method makes for a wonderful performance that is both primitive and full of sensibility. The whole album is superb.
