An album released in 1975 by Japanese pianist Masaru Imada, known for numerous masterpieces on the Thee Blind Mice label, including the 1978 quartet album 'Remember of Love'. This album features a trio with Isoo Fukui (bass) and Tetsujiro Ohara (drums), and contains recordings from a live performance at the Japan Urban Center Hall in Tokyo that same year. Highlights include Imada's original composition B1 dedicated to Duke Ellington, as well as emotionally expressive renditions of Ellington's classics. The transitions from Imada's extended piano solos to the next tracks in A1/A2 are also remarkable. Three Blind Mice is renowned for its high sound quality among Japanese jazz labels. The original 1st pressing comes with a booklet.
