A double album released in 1971 by renowned American drummer Max Roach, who was active across a broad spectrum from the bebop era of the 1950s to ethnic revival groups like the percussion ensemble M’Boom. This album features previously unreleased recordings from 1960 and 1961, brought to light by Toshiba's project in collaboration with BYG Records. Sides A, B, and C include live recordings from 1961 featuring Clifford Jordan (ts), Coleridge Parkinson (p), and Eddie Kahn (b). The exact location of the performance remains unknown. Side D includes recordings from a February 1960 concert in Paris, featuring Stanley Turrentine (ts), Tommy Turrentine (tp), Julian Priester (tb), and Bob Boswell (b).
