This is the debut album by Meng Que, a female singer-songwriter living in Suzhou City, released in 2021 from the label 1asia, led by Endy Chen, who leads the underground music scene in China as a DJ/music curator. It features electronic sounds and simple, unstable melodies of acoustic piano quietly resonating in the silence, along with whispering vocals. The music creates a strange space where everyday fragments intertwine with fantasy. It unintentionally has the appearance of Jan Steel. The sound of dripping water in track B4 is said to be recorded from an actual water leak in her room, collaged with the outdoor noise heard, creating a very unique flavor. This exquisite home recording feeling may disappear as she grows and becomes more refined, but please enjoy the early impulsive worldview of this young musician born in this moment. It is a set that includes an LP with 8 tracks and a 7-inch single with one side pressed.
