Michael Franks is an American singer and songwriter who has left behind many adult contemprary rock masterpieces since his debut in 1973. This is his fifth album, released in 1979, and features many musicians from different genres, including Kenny Barron, Ron Carter, Dave Liebman, Flora Purim, David Sanborn, and Buddy Williams. The entire album is mellow AOR with urban yet somewhat warm vocals and superb performances. All songs are good.
