This was featured in the guidebook 'obscure sound'. This is the second and the great album by the American guitarist Michael Hedges, released in 1984. The album is a superb raw sound world, with delicate and dynamic sonic sounds from acoustic guitars and squalls like sounds of percussion. The guitar sounds are sometimes mysterious, sometimes magnificent, in a transparent and deep acoustic space, a worldview similar to that of Steve Tibbetts. The sound is deep and three-dimensional. It's a great example of the kind of music you can find if you're not put off by the perception of a cheesy new age label.
