This is a 1980 album by the German trumpeter Michael Sell, who was a member of the Free Jazz Group Wiesbaden along with Dieter Scherf and Wolfgang Schlick. He also collaborated with the Art Ensemble of Chicago as part of the European Free Jazz Orchestra. The album features recordings from a live performance in Hanover in 1979 with a quintet consisting of Reinhard Gloder (bass), Bernd Konrad (bass clarinet), and Martin Bues (drums). The album showcases remarkable performances, including Sell's bold trumpet solo in A1, Bues' powerful drum solo in A2, and the dramatic developments with various expressions in B1/B2, which rival the Chicago AACM (Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians) artists.
