Michael Vetter "Zen Glocken”

This is the third volume in the "Zen Music" series by Michael Vetter, who has released spiritual and meditative works rooted in Buddhist truths. This is an ultra-meditative solo performance on the glockenspiel, a type of glockenspiel that plays musical scales on a metal soundboard. Usually used in classical orchestras, Micheal Vetter creates a meditative sound world here with a wide-spaced technique that produces extended overtones, as if it were an oriental folk instrument. The sound is like Tibetan Buddhist music, a worldview very similar to that of the "Tibetan Bells" series by Henry Wolff & Nancy Hennings. Highly recommended.
