This album, released in 1969, is by the French composer Michel Puig, who began his composition career in the late 1950s under the tutelage of Polish composer Rene Leibowitz. The album features a chamber opera composed in 1961 based on text by Jaues Pajak, with Leibowitz, his mentor, conducting.
