This album was released in 1980 by the Prazsky Big Band, led by Milan Svoboda, a Czech composer/pianist from Eastern Europe who is also a member of the famous French CBS library series "April Orchestra". This is the first release by the band as a leader, and many Czech jazz musicians including Jiri Stivin participate in the big band. Side A contains swinging tracks with thick brass ensembles that are typical of big band music, as well as hard bop. The most noteworthy track is B1, where the rhythm section grooves speedily with bright backing piano, and the earthy flute and electric guitar solos run thrillingly. B2 is an epic jazz funk with bright horn blows and wet sounds of Fender Rhodes over a laid-back beat. (Chee)

B1: Proklamace
B2: Reminiscence na Stary Choral
