This is a 1983 release by the great Brazilian singer-songwriter Milton Nascimento, a leading figure of the Minas movement alongside Toninho Horta and Lo Borges. It's a German compilation album featuring tracks selected from his 1981 album "Cacador De Mim" and his 1982 album "Anima," both of which featured collaborations with numerous renowned Brazilian artists such as Caetano Veloso, Elis Regina, Tunai, Ney Matogrosso, Wagner Tiso, and Uakti. The album comprises 11 tracks, ranging from warm acoustic sounds reminiscent of his 1970s work to emotionally charged ballads featuring orchestration and contemporary compositions showcasing the brilliance of Uakti's performances. The production, characterized by a transparent quality typical of the 1980s, is remarkable. Being a German pressing, the sound quality is also exceptionally good.
