This album was released on ECM in 1981 by the Miroslav Vitous Group, led by Miroslav Vitous, a brilliant jazz bassist from the Czech Republic who is the member of Wether Report. The quartet features John Surman (s), Kenny Kirkland (p), and Jon Christensen (d), and all tracks are original scores by the members. This is an album that shows off the talents of all four musicians, from light and smooth modal jazz to avant-garde free jazz. Highly recommended.
