This is the first leader album by Czech bassist Miroslav Vitous, who would later join the Wether Report, released in 1970. Joe Henderson (ts), John McLaughlin (g), Herbie Hancock (p) and Jack Dejohnette (ds) make up this incredible quintet. It featured an ultra-aggressive rhythm section of Vitous and Dejohnette, McLaughlin's psychedelic guitar and Hancock's dark piano. This is an important album, full of the new wave of performances common to a series of albums after Electric Miles.
