This album was released in 1979 by the trio of George Mraz(b), John Abercrombie(g), and Peter Donald(ds). Produced by Lew Tabackin, it was recorded in New York and released only in Japan. It was originally released only in Japan, and the following year in the U.S., it was released under a different title in the JazzAmesica 5000 Series. Featuring jazz classics and standard numbers by Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Dave Brubeck, and others, this is a rare opportunity to hear a different approach than that found in Abercrombie's ECM work.
