This is a 1976 album by the American jazz pianist Muhal Richard Abrams, one of the founders of The Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians (AACM). It features a duo with Malachi Favors, the bassist of the Art Ensemble of Chicago, who is also a member of AACM. The combination of piano and bass creates an excellent compatibility, and this album is a perfect example of that. Abrams' expressive piano and Favors' supple bass come together to create a vibrant and colorful musical world. Especially noteworthy is track B1, which features Favors' percussion and voice, adding another layer of brilliance to the album. Highly recommended for those seeking a captivating musical experience.
