An album released in 1978 by American pianist Narada Burton Greene, whose work "Trees" with percussionist Daoud Amin was featured in the guidebook "OBSCURE SOUND REVISED EDITION". In addition to her own compositions, she also uses improvisation to create a wide range of imagery based on the music of Jaufre Rudel and Raimbaut de Vaqueiras, a 12th century nobleman and poet, and the works of Bela Bartok, a 19th century Romanian composer. The music is lyrically developed with occasional use of prepared piano, percussion, and other instruments. Highly recommended.
