Neil Ardley
Harmony of the Spheres
London Records (Japan) 1979
GXH 2021 (LP) w/insert.
sleeve : EX(wear on corner.)
media : EX/EX(some slightly noise.)
British synthesizer player Neil Ardley's 1979 album, featuring Barbara Thompson, Ian Carr and others. The album is more progressive than his masterpiece "Kaleidoscope of Rainbow", with an atmospheric synthesizer sound using Arp Odyssey and Arp Omni, and melodious and spacy development. The beautiful voice of Norma Winstone and Ian Carr's trumpet sound like rays of light on A4, the organic percussion and melancholy melody line on B3, etc. This is a magnificent jazz-rock work that depicts a fantastic world with beautiful harmonies. It's just wonderful.
A4: Fair Mirage
B3: Towards Tranquillity
