An album released in 1987 by Nicole Croisille, a French singer and actress who has been active since the early 1960s and gained worldwide recognition for participating in the soundtrack of Claude Lelouch's 1966 film A Man and a Woman, with music composed by Francis Lai. The album features a diverse lineup of guest artists, including Toots Thielemans, Didier Lockwood, Steve Grossman, and Manu Dibango, while Benoit Wideman, known for the masterpiece Tsunami, handled the synthesizer programming. Showcasing superb jazz vocals, the album spans bold electro-pop with electronic elements, moody jazz, and chanson, all backed by exceptional sound production. Highlights include a groovy arrangement of Bobby Gentry's classic, track A4, also covered by Swedish jazz singer Nanny Porres, and a cover of a jazz classic on track B3, featuring Manu Dibango’s urbane saxophone.
A4: Ode to Billy Joe
B3: Fever
