Released in 1987, the album is a duo effort by Congolese singer Maestro Fafa De Molokai, long a key member of the group Viva La Musica formed by Papa Wemba in 1977, and Koffi Olomide, who has released numerous albums since his solo debut in 1983, winning seven gold discs and five African Grammy Awards. The album was produced by Ado Mbengani and Tilope Opap's, and features Rigo Star (g). The album features the mild and soft vocals of Olomide and Fafa on A1, and the tropical rhythm of A2, which is a fusion of reggae and rhumba.
