OM, a German jazz-rock group consisting of Urs Leimgruber (ss,ts,ft), Christy Doran (g,syn), Bobby Burri (b), and Freddy Studer (ds,per), which released a masterpiece album featuring Brazilian drummer Dom Um Romao in 1978. This is the fourth album released from ECM's sub-label JAPO. The album was recorded at Tlent Studio in Oslo and engineered by Jan Erik Kongshaug, who is known for his work with ECM. The album features experimental jazz-rock with tense atmosphere and sophisticated groove, including spiritual jazz A2 with ringing percussion and wood flute playing ethnic melody.
