This is the second album released in 1977 by Kitaro, a Japanese New Age/Ambient composer who immigrated to the United States in the 1970s. Kitaro extensively incorporates traditional Japanese instruments such as koto, biwa, shakuhachi, and drums. While releasing numerous works that attempt to blend these instruments with Western music, this album successfully harmonizes the exotic taste of pure Japanese music with jazz and rock, following in the footsteps of the masterful debut album "Benzaiten." Kitaro's unique blend of psychedelic, rock-infused sounds and New Age elements is evident in this album, creating a diverse range of music that spans from rock to New Age with a distinct Japanese flavor. Notably, Minnie Riperton contributes her voice to the album.
