This album was released in 1984 by Osamu Kitajima, a Japanese new age/ambient composer who emigrated to the U.S. in the 1970's. It features contributions from Victor Feldman, David Mansfield, Michael Fisher, Richard Elliot, and others from overseas. In addition, jazz harpist Drothy Ashley also contributes to this album. The artist has released a number of works that integrate traditional Japanese instruments such as Koto, Biwa, Shakuhachi and Tsuzumi with Western music. B1 is a good song with minimalistic elements.
