This is the fourth album from Pankow, a prominent Italian industrial group that made its debut in 1987. The album was released by the esteemed American industrial label Wax Trax! The work prominently features hammering beats that resonate with a harsh quality, along with synths that create a buzzing sensation throughout the body, particularly highlighted in tracks like B1 and B4. Drawing parallels to Front 242, the album unfolds with a powerful electronic body music style. It's characterized by elements of rock, post-punk, and even a glimpse of pop sensibility in its sound. Furthermore, it showcases a distinct approach that evokes a sense of rave-infused dance music. Amidst this, one standout is the experimental track A5, which layers German? poetry readings over a suspenseful movie soundtrack-like backtrack, enriched with various ambient sounds like laughter and barking dogs. This piece exudes mystery and avant-garde qualities. There's a connection to the compilation album "Les Mysteres Des Voix Vulgaires" from the deep-seated Italian anarchic label Divergo, which also features contributions from artists like David Moss and Gigi Masin.
