This is a 1981 leader album by Italian guitarist Paolo Radoni, known for his participation in the 1977 classic "Onze Danses Pour Combattre La Migraine" by Marc Hollander/Aksak Maboul and Christine Shaller's "Real Life." The trio includes Rudi Schroder (b) and Ernst Bier (ds). Alongside Radoni's original scores, the album features a delightful and mellow rendition of standards like "Blue Funk," known for Cannonball Adderley's performance, and "I Could Write a Book," covered by Miles Davis and Ella Fitzgerald. The title suggests a slightly humorous interpretation, aligning with the avant-garde tendencies typical of the Belgian avant-garde scene. The original composition in B1 showcases a deep contemporary jazz style reminiscent of John Abercrombie, making it outstanding. The entire album is consistently interesting.
