An album released in 1986 by Paris-based contemporary musician and composer Patrick Lenfant, who directed various electronic music studios throughout the 1980s. It was released on the renowned Belgian label Igloo, known for delivering high-quality music across a wide range of genres from experimental and contemporary music to jazz. Side A is truly remarkable—a 20+ minute piece of experimental contemporary music in which lead player Jean-Pierre Peuvion performs on various clarinets, from small to large, while Patrick Lenfant layers electronic sounds using a modular synthesizer. Side B is also an extended 24+ minute contemporary piece, featuring layered sounds of various reed and ethnic instruments performed by Jean-Pierre Peuvion, and is equally experimental. Highly recommended.
