This 1985 album is by American multi-instrumentalist Patrick O’Hearn, known for his work with Missing Persons and Frank Zappa. He also collaborated with Alex Acuna on Dan Siegel’s New Age fusion project Another Time, Another Place. The album was the first release from Private Music, a label founded by Peter Baumann, an early member of Tangerine Dream who, after leaving the group, moved to the United States and established himself as a solo artist, recording engineer, and producer, while also founding Paragon Studio. The album features contributions from Marc Isham and Alex Acuna and is a masterpiece of electronic New Age music. It showcases endlessly expansive, transparent electronic melodies that evoke serene landscapes while also hinting at Krautrock influences.
