Private Music
Private Music/Alfa Records (Japan) 1985
ALAM-1039 (LP) Promotional copy. White label. White plane sleeve. w/booklet.
sleeve : VG+(SOC, RW, dirts.)
media : EX+/EX+(some slightly surface noises, still good condition.)

This is a promotional record for Private Music, a label established by Peter Baumann, a member of the early Tangerine Dream, who founded Paragon Studio and worked as a recording engineer and producer as well as a solo artist after leaving the group. The record is not for sale, and was produced by Alfa Records in Japan, who acquired the licensing rights, for promotions to record stores. It consists of four tracks from Patrick O'Hearn's Ancient Dreams and four tracks from Jerry Goodman's On the Future of aviation. A booklet titled "Dealer Manual" is included, which includes a message from Peter Baumann, an introduction to the artists, and promotional tips. The sound quality of the cut is very good, showing the sincere intention to convey the label's colors, and the effort Alfa Records put into it at the time.
