This album was released in 1986 by Paul Horn, a flutist who has worked in a wide range of styles from jazz to new age, and who has made many experimental works that harmonize with natural sounds and use the space of buildings for acoustic treatment. The album is a selection from his "The Golden Flute" series released from 1983 to 1986, and contains a lot of new age electronics with the core synthesizer sound of Roland Jupiter-8 and flute performance with spatiality and floating feeling.
