This is from the 1st edition of the guidebook "obscure sound". A hidden masterpiece album by American jazz guitarist Peter Sprague, released in 1983. The spiritual ethnic jazz tune B1 is just wonderful. Starting with the meditative drone of the tambouras, Peter Sprague's acoustic guitar and Sam Most's flute play Indian classical scales in unison against a simple percussion beat. Peter Sprague is also a professional surfer, and his musical sense of being at one with nature must come from his life style. Outer sleeve has lightly stained and creased due to water damage.
