Phil Woods and His European Rhythm Machine

This is the leader album by Phil Woods, recorded in 1970 with Gordon Beck (piano etc.), Henri Texier (bass etc.), and Daniel Humair (drums, perc). It's a rough, aggressive, and funky album with a masculine or wild atmosphere that includes a touch of jazz-rock. The psychedelic and primitive ethno-jazz B2 is also pretty cool, and the narration by Phil Woods' son on B3 is cute. This is a US release from Inner City, a good jazz label, in 1976.

A1: Chromatic Banana
