Recorded as the soundtrack to Peter Whitehead’s 1967 documentary film Tonite Let's All Make Love In London... Plus, a snapshot of Swinging London at its peak, this 1991 mini-album features the full-length versions of Pink Floyd’s “Interstellar Overdrive” and “Nick’s Boogie.” On the original soundtrack issue from the time, “Interstellar Overdrive” was edited down to just three minutes, while “Nick’s Boogie” was left off entirely, making this the only way to hear both cuts on vinyl. “Nick’s Boogie” in particular is a seriously mind-blowing piece — a heavy, murky, fully stoned-out performance that drifts deep into psychedelic avant-garde territory. Highly recommended.
A1: Interstellar Overdrive
B1: Nick's Boogie
