This is the second album by American jazz singer Pinky Winters, released in 1956 on Argo. Winters began singing in local Los Angeles clubs in 1953 and made her debut the following year with Vantage Records, led by Bob Andrews. On this album, she is supported by Chico Hamilton on drums, Gerald Wiggins on piano, Howard Roberts on guitar, and Jim Wolf on bass. The album is a masterpiece that showcases Winters' expressive and sultry vocals throughout, mainly focusing on standard numbers. While the up-tempo swing numbers are excellent, it's the emotional depth of her ballad performances that truly stands out. This is a Japanese reissue released by M & M Enterprise in 2012.
