This is the fifth album by the rock band Quintessence, released in 1972. The band was formed in 1969 in Notting Hill, London. Featuring Indian-British musicians as core members, the group presents a distinctive blend of psychedelic rock, incorporating elements ranging from West Coast American rock and jazz rock to raga rock influenced by Indian classical music. Notable tracks include B1, themed around the Indian spiritual leader Sai Baba—well known even in Japan—and B5, which reflects a meditative inclination reminiscent of the Flower Movement. A masterpiece packed with excellent tracks. This is the original UK pressing.
A2: Butterfly Music
B4: Bliss Trip
