A 1984 album by Ralph Lundsten, Sweden’s nationally celebrated composer and master of fantastical electronic music. This is the fifth installment in his long-running Nordisk Natursymfoni series, which began in 1973. The album features members of the Andromeda All Stars, including fellow Swedish collaborators Björn J:son Lindh (fl) and Janne Schaffer (g). Classical-sounding passages built from richly orchestrated synthesizers coexist with futuristic, cosmic electronics, and Lundsten’s uniquely fantastical and wonderfully eccentric musical universe is in full force throughout. The sleeve artwork is also superb.
