A 1986 duo album by guitarist Ralph Towner, known for his outstanding work both as a member of the ethnic jazz group Oregon and as a solo artist, and mallet percussionist Gary Burton. With the exception of A4, all of the pieces were composed by Towner. Throughout the album, Towner’s delicate classical and 12-string acoustic guitar work blends beautifully with the clear yet richly resonant tones of Burton’s vibraphone and marimba, creating a succession of vivid and evocative musical landscapes.
