A 1986 duo album by guitarist Ralph Towner, known for his many outstanding recordings both as a member of the ethnic jazz group Oregon and as a solo artist, and mallet percussionist Gary Burton. With the exception of A4, all of the compositions are by Towner. Throughout the album, the delicate tones of Towner’s classical guitar and 12-string acoustic guitar intertwine beautifully with the clear yet richly resonant sounds of Burton’s vibraphone and marimba, creating a series of vivid and evocative musical landscapes. A beautifully conceived and performed album from start to finish. Original German pressing.
